Description

Diamantina, part of the family-owned Stanbroke group, has been associated with top-tier Australian beef for nearly 20 years. Customers around the world trust its consistent quality. The brand is recognised for combining long-standing tradition with modern farming standards, reflected in multiple industry awards and the presence of its beef in exclusive restaurants and specialist butcher shops.

Exceptional farming and the quality of Diamantina Wagyu beef

Diamantina Wagyu comes from carefully selected Japanese genetic lines of Black Wagyu, valued for their ability to produce exceptionally high marbling. The cattle are born and raised during their early life on natural pastures in sunny Queensland. They then move to a long, carefully managed grain-feeding programme lasting over 300 days in the Darling Downs region, known for its fertile farmland.

This balanced diet, based on high-quality grains and feed and without the use of hormones or growth stimulants, supports the development of deep, even marbling. Every stage of the process is designed to deliver beef with maximum tenderness and a rich, complex flavour profile.

From farm to table, the entire herd is raised without growth hormones or antibiotics, reflecting a commitment to natural and responsible farming. Diamantina’s abattoir and processing facility are located in the Lockyer Valley near Brisbane, ensuring full control over quality at every stage of production.

Key flavour notes include rich buttery tones and pronounced umami, complemented by subtle earthy and nutty accents.

Prestige and uniqueness:

The exceptional status of Diamantina Wagyu Ribeye is confirmed by the brand’s international achievements. Diamantina beef was awarded Champion by the Australian Wagyu Association, winning the 2023 title in the commercial Wagyu beef category with marbling scores of 5 to 7. This recognition places Diamantina among the leading Wagyu brands worldwide.

The brand meets strict expert criteria for marbling, texture and flavour. It also holds numerous quality certifications, including Halal approval and export standards for multiple international markets. Diamantina beef is supplied to some of the most demanding destinations around the globe.
